The Opportunity: Asset Owner (Technical Lead) 

We are looking for an Asset Owner that can lead technically and with product ownership skills to join our Application Engineers Team. This hybrid role blends strong technical leadership with product strategy, making key architectural decisions while also ensuring that business needs are translated into valuable and scalable solutions. You will work closely with engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to drive innovation and maintain high-quality technical standards across our applications. 

What You’ll Do 

✅ Technical Leadership: Guide the team in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient technical solutions. Collaborate with architects to deliver the best “fit for purpose” solutions. 

✅ Product Ownership: Define product requirements, align technical solutions with business objectives, and ensure stakeholder expectations are met. Preferably using a Domain-Driven Design approach. 

✅ Cloud Expertise: Leverage your Azure knowledge to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability. But also, be able to handle legacy systems and their migration to Cloud. 

✅ Continuous Improvement: Drive optimization efforts for development processes and application performance. 

✅ Problem Solving & Architecture: Conduct impact analysis, reverse engineering, and ensure seamless system integration within Atradius’ architecture. 

✅ Collaboration & Communication: Act as a bridge between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and clarity. 

✅ Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship: Conduct technical sessions and coaching to elevate the expertise of your team. 

What You Bring to the Table 

🎯 Experience: 

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role. 
• Proven ability to lead technical teams while also managing product and business priorities and roadmaps. 

🎯 Technical Skills: 

• Backend: Java (17+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/JDBC. 
• Cloud: Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure DevOps. 
• DevOps & Tools: CI/CD, GitHub, Maven, Docker, RDBMS (Oracle/MS SQL), Elastic-Logstash-Kibana, Grafana. 
• Testing: Unit, integration testing, and automation. 
• Architecture & Security: REST API standards, messaging platforms (Kafka), Cloud networking, security concepts (managed identities, private endpoints), and Domain Driven Design. 

🎯 Soft Skills: 

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. 
• Strategic mindset with a balance of technical and business acumen. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Fluency in English and Spanish is essential.
