About The Role

As Operations & Delivery Manager, you ensure the health, maturity, performance, and growth of the teams you lead. You lead project managers, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and oversee the quality of the work we deliver. Making sure we consistently promise to clients what we can deliver and deliver on our promises to clients.

You manage staffing, scaling, and forecasting across your teams and clients. This includes having a clear view on recruitment needs and freelance capacity. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on involvement. From yearly reviews, to coaching conversations to building long-term client relationships.

You are the bridge between our clients and delivery teams, helping align roadmaps, processes, and team capabilities with client ambitions. At the same time, you are closely involved in administrative control: keeping track of the invoicing process, financial forecasting, contracts, and project documentation. You also play a key role in guarding and nurturing the culture and values of Lab Digital. Whether through team conversations, daily collaboration, 1-on-1 coaching or broader organizational initiatives, you help ensure our way of working remains aligned with what we stand for.

You report to the Operations Director and work closely with peers across HR, Finance, Recruitment, and Operations Management to shape the future of Lab Digital.

About You

You enjoy coaching others, facilitating growth, and creating scalable ways of working. At the same time, you keep a close eye on operations, knowing how to turn insights into action and strategy into delivery. You take ownership, know when to listen, adapt, or challenge. You care deeply about team culture and you speak up when something feels off. At the same time your stakeholder management is strong and you don’t shy away from the (sometimes) difficult conversations with clients. You understand that upholding shared values is just as important as delivering results.

What You Bring

• At least 5 years experience in managing teams in an agency and with custom digital software development projects
• Strong understanding of operational processes, forecasting, and team planning
• Confidence in coaching and guiding project managers and you have experience in leading multidisciplinary teams
• A strategic mindset when it comes to scaling teams and structuring accounts
• You can spot commercial opportunities and know how to accelerate digital growth for clients.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
